Giving Thanks for Everyday Blessings

As we consider all that we are thankful for in 2026, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your faithful support of IOCC. 

Most of us are fortunate enough to have working household appliances for cooking and laundry that make it easier for us to care for our homes and families.  But what would life be like without these appliances—especially as winter approaches? It is a question that many staff and residents at care homes in Ukraine are facing.

Basic Needs for the Elderly

Natalka is the director of a care facility for homeless elderly people in Ukraine. "For several years, we have been reaching out to different organizations seeking support for new home and kitchen appliances." Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, IOCC was able to step in and provide new appliances. 

"When we started working with IOCC, it truly felt like a blessing for our institution and all the residents living here. Thanks to your support, the new kitchen equipment has significantly improved our ability to provide meals for our residents on time and without disruptions or delays," says Natalka. 

Caring for Foster Children

After being displaced from eastern Ukraine, Yurii and his wife opened their home to foster 10 children who lost parental care due to the ongoing conflict. They hoped to provide a secure and loving home to them. However, they lacked essential appliances and furnishings. 

With IOCC's help, "the home is now equipped with a fully functional kitchen, tables that enable them to study, and laundry facilities that ensure proper hygiene," says Yurii. It is life-changing for children who have been through so much. 

Thanks to your support, IOCC has been able to supply household appliances to more than 50 shelters and institutions for children, the elderly, and disabled, serving more than 5,000 people.
