A Symbol of Your Faith
The Christian symbol of the fish, or ichthys, is very ancient, dating back to at least the 2nd century. It is understood that early Christians used the fish as a secret symbol to identify themselves.
The Greek letters stand for Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. By displaying the symbol, you are declaring your faith, much as the early Christians did some 2,000 years ago.

Food and Other Aid to 2,322 People
In Romania: Ana, a grandmother who cares for her two grandchildren, was facing a winter without heat after a storm badly damaged her home. IOCC provided her with a heating stove and 600 logs of firewood—so Ana could keep herself and her grandchildren warm and safe.
Restoring Health for 734,808 People
In Ethiopia: After completing an IOCC training program, Abibual is helping his neighbors treat and prevent podoconiosis (podo), an excruciatingly painful disease that causes swelling of the feet and legs. He provides education to prevent podo, and his training enables him to produce custom-made shoes for those with badly swollen feet.
Food Security and Agricultural Aid for 146,068 People
In Gaza: IOCC is providing much-needed assistance for families in Gaza who have fled to displaced persons camps. When Hanan lost her home and arrived at one such camp, she, her husband, and their two daughters, along with many other families, were served hot meals. Hanan also took advantage of IOCC's health and nutrition classes.
Emergency Preparedness and Response for 79,802 People
In the United States: Hurricane Helene damaged or destroyed thousands of homes in Florida and Tennessee. An IOCC Action Team arrived in Tennessee to help Ms. Pat, replacing her water-damaged floor, repairing the plumbing and electrical systems, and refurbishing her kitchen and dining room.
