Help Someone Make a New Beginning in 2026

A new year is the time for resolutions and new beginnings. For the people we serve who are facing hardship, making that new beginning can be far more difficult—but it is possible because of people like you.

Abibual (below) made a fresh start thanks to IOCC supporters like you. He grew up in an area of Ethiopia that is ravaged by podoconiosis (podo), a debilitating disease triggered when bare feet are exposed to volcanic soil.

As part of IOCC’s continuing effort to fight podo, Abibual received special training and a small business loan. Today, he makes custom shoes for people who suffer from podo, helping them on the road to recovery.

Your generosity helped make thousands more opportunities like Abibual's possible (see below and right). With your help, someone could remember 2026 as the year their life turned around. Start the New Year by helping someone make a new beginning and bringing Christ's love to families in need.

Thanks to an IOCC job-training project in Syria (below), Wafaa started a new position as a finance manager for a local company.
